Portugal is the Official Partner Country of the Smart Country Convention (SCCON) 2026, Europe’s leading event for digital government, smart cities, and public-sector innovation, taking place in Berlin from 13–15 October.

Portugal’s participation highlights the country’s position as one of Europe’s leading digital nations and a recognised reference in public sector transformation.

Coordinated by AICEP – Portuguese Trade & Investment Agency, in collaboration with the State Technological Reform Agency, Portugal’s presence will showcase innovative digital solutions developed by public institutions, technology companies, start-ups and research organisations.

As Partner Country, Portugal will contribute to high-level discussions, official sessions and a programme focused on the future of digital public services, while creating opportunities to strengthen international partnerships, attract investment and reinforce cooperation with Germany and other European markets.
