Singapore-headquartered customer experience solutions provider TDCX has opened its first operational site in Portugal, establishing Lisbon as its third European centre alongside operations in Romania and Spain.
Located in central Lisbon, the new campus will serve as a regional hub for multilingual customer experience, sales and complex client support across Europe. The company says demand has already led it to plan a second Lisbon building as early as 2027.
The investment strengthens Portugal's position as a location for international companies seeking multilingual talent, digital infrastructure and access to European markets. TDCX selected Lisbon for its language capabilities, established technology ecosystem and time zone, which enables real-time collaboration with the UK, continental Europe and the east coast of North America.
The campus will provide services in key European languages, including English, German, French and Dutch, supported by local CX and BPO professionals and graduates from Lisbon's universities and polytechnic institutes. The company also expects to use Portugal's Tech Visa framework to access specialised international talent where required.
TDCX will begin recruiting in Portugal for roles spanning customer support, analytics, project management and sales operations, with the new facility targeting sectors including technology and digital platforms, gaming, SaaS, fintech, e-commerce, and travel and hospitality.
The Lisbon operation will also use TDCX's proprietary AI solutions, including agent-assist workflows, quality assurance tools, coaching insights and voice-of-customer analytics, supporting the company's strategy of combining technology with specialised customer experience services.
The expansion brings TDCX's European footprint to three centres and reinforces the region's role in its international growth strategy. For Portugal, the investment adds to the country's growing base of international companies using Lisbon as a platform to serve customers across European and global markets.
