NxN Data Centers has entered the Portuguese market with the acquisition of an operational data centre in Évora, with 1MW of installed capacity, marking the company’s first operational asset in Portugal.
The company will integrate the facility into its platform through NxN Portugal and plans to invest up to €100 million over the next three years to develop new digital infrastructure and expand its presence in the country.
The investment is not currently linked to a specific project and will support opportunities that NxN is evaluating as part of its wider Iberian expansion.
The Évora facility adds operational capacity along the route connecting Lisbon and Madrid, while providing a base for further development in Portugal. NxN is developing a network of data centres designed to support AI workloads, with a focus on energy efficiency, clean energy and water-efficient cooling technologies.
