Lisbon will host European Tech Champions – Italy & Portugal on 11 November 2026, bringing together founders, investors, corporate leaders and institutional representatives to discuss how European technology companies can raise capital, compete internationally and scale beyond their domestic markets.
The event is organised by Unicorn Factory Lisboa, the Embassy of Italy in Portugal and the Italian Trade Agency (ICE), as part of the programme taking place during Web Summit 2026.
Held at Unicorn Stage, in Lisbon’s Beato Innovation District, the event will feature two panel discussions with scaleups, investors and institutional leaders from Italy, Portugal and across Europe. Discussions will focus on the challenges and opportunities facing European technology companies as they seek to expand internationally, secure investment and strengthen their global competitiveness.
The programme will also include a networking session, offering an opportunity for Portuguese and Italian startups, investors attending Web Summit and members of the wider European technology community to establish contacts and explore potential partnerships.
The event starts at 18:30, with welcome and registration. It is aimed at entrepreneurs seeking international growth, investors looking for opportunities in the European technology sector, and organisations interested in strengthening cross-border cooperation and innovation.
Registration is available through the event website.
