Lisbon once again affirmed its commitment to building a smart urban model, with the presentation of technological solutions already in operation, guided by data, sustainability and innovation, with a real impact on city management. At the Lisboa space, in Pavilion 3 of the Lisbon International Fair, visitors learned about technological solutions with a real impact on city management, such as smart sensors that optimize waste collection, early warning systems to prevent flooding in tunnels and mobility and emergency management tools that enable faster and more coordinated responses.
The municipality's stand also showcased the Lisboa Aberta portal, a free portal for sharing data produced by Lisbon City Council and the partner entities of the Lisboa Aberta program, with the aim of boosting citizen participation, encouraging the reuse and sharing of data, and stimulating entrepreneurship and innovation.
