French sneaker brand VEJA has opened its first store in Portugal, strengthening its presence in one of Europe's fastest-growing retail markets. The new flagship is located on Rua da Boavista, in Lisbon's Santos district, marking the company's first standalone retail operation in the country.
The choice of Lisbon reflects the brand's strategy of expanding its direct retail network while reinforcing its connection with Portugal, where part of its European production is already based. Since 2023, VEJA has been manufacturing selected models in northern Portugal under its AEGEAN project, developed to supply the European market with locally produced footwear.
