Introsys is a Portuguese industrial engineering and automation company with an international presence through a subsidiary in Mexico. It employs around 140 staff in Portugal and 90 in Mexico, and has installed more than 5,000 robots in factories across 18 countries and three continents, establishing itself as a leading technology partner in the digital transformation of industry.
Founded in 2002 by Nuno and Luís Flores, the company was first established to develop service robots for mine clearance. That project produced two prototypes but did not achieve commercial success. “The context was not the most favourable for its development,” recalls Nuno Flores, CEO of Introsys.
