According to FT, 99x, a global product engineering company, last week hosted a high-profile roundtable discussion titled ‘Poised for Growth in Europe and Americas’ at their office premises in Colombo bringing together 99x’s industry leaders from Norway, Portugal, Brazil, and Sri Lanka.
The attendees included 99x Group Norway CEO Odd-Sverre Ostlie, CFO Trygve Moe, Cleverti Portugal CEO Carlos Coutinho Silva, Nextly Brazil CEO Thiers Santos, Seeds Consulting Norway CEO Eiliv Mæhle Liljevik and 99x Technology CEO Hasith Yaggahavita which operates in Norway, Malaysia, Brazil, and Sri Lanka.
During the discussion, the 99x team detailed that demand still outdoes supply of software developers, and therefore it has become imperative for service providers to expand globally to boost resources and output. They noted the quality of talent coming out of Sri Lanka is world-class and presents significant advantages to global clientele. 99x said there are a number of other acquisitions in the pipeline, and said a degree of convergence and consolidation will take place to serve global requirements.
The event provided a platform to discuss collaborative efforts within the 99x Group, with a focus on expanding geographic reach, enhancing service breadth, and leveraging global talent to drive innovation and customer satisfaction. Additionally, the discussions highlighted the rapid growth 99x has experienced following substantial investments in innovative strategies.
