For the first time ever, BIO-Europe Spring 2026 will take place in Lisbon, Portugal, from 23 to 25 March, marking the 20th edition of this flagship event for the international biotechnology industry. The city’s vibrant life sciences ecosystem will welcome innovators, investors, and industry leaders to a week of networking, collaboration, and dealmaking.
Lisbon will become the epicentre of life science innovation this spring, as BIO-Europe Spring and LSX Europe converge for a landmark “Life Science Spring Innovation Week.” Participants will gain access to emerging Portuguese biotech companies, cutting-edge research, and global players shaping the future of healthcare. The LSX World Congress, held on 25–26 March, will complement the event by bringing together the Biotech, Medtech, and investor communities under one roof.
AICEP - Portugal’s Trade & Investment Agency, will play an active role, both through a stand at the FIL – Lisbon Exhibition Centre (23–25 March) and a networking event on 22 March at its Lisbon offices.
The Lisbon edition of BIO-Europe Spring will celebrate 20 years of international collaboration, innovation, and strategic partnerships, with an expected attendance of around 4,000 participants from over 50 countries. It offers an unparalleled platform for Portuguese companies and research centres to showcase their innovations to global investors and industry leaders.
