In March, Empowered Startups and ISEC Lisboa (Instituto Superior de Educação e Ciências/Higher Institute of Education and Sciences) came together to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking the start of a strategic partnership to promote innovation, foster knowledge transfer, and attract foreign direct investment. This marks Empowered’s second university partnership in the capital region, representing another step forward for the HQA® Program.
Attendees included Francesco Berrettini (Director of Partnerships & Projects at Empowered Startups), Cristina Ventura (Professor at ISEC Lisboa and Chairman of the Board of Directors at Universitas), and Carlos Cabeleira (Deputy Member of the Board of Directors at Universitas, and Director-General for Development and Strategic Planning at ISEC Lisboa), representing both organizations’ commitment to collaboration.
