CALB, Everbio, Lift One, Savannah Lithium, Topsoe Battery Materials, and United PetFood are the six companies involved in the ceremony on the investment contracts held in Sines with the Prime Minister Luís Montenegro and the Minister of Economy and Territorial Cohesion Castro Almeida in attendance.
These contracts represent an investment of 3.077 billion euros with a contracted incentive of 699.7 million euros.
The investment projects will be developed in the electrical mobility, health, chemical and petrochemical, agrifood, and mining industry sectors. They represent the creation of 2,336 new jobs in several regions of the country, 643 of which are highly qualified.
Four of the six contracts in question derive from the applications to the Strategic Sector Investment Incentives System.
These four projects represent the creation of 2132 new jobs, 608 of which are highly qualified. Two of them (CALB and Topsoe Battery Materials) will be implemented and developed in Sines.
The other two contracts stem from applications to the Productive Innovation Incentives System and represent the creation of 204 new jobs,35 of which highly qualified.
The investment projects mediated by AICEP in 2025 stood at 3.58 billion euros, with a contracted incentive of 803 million euros, which account for the creation of 6600 jobs, 20% of which are qualified.
