The order was placed by Zara with the Portuguese company Sidi, to produce a sweatshirt that would be worn by Bad Bunny at the Super Bowl.
The order comprised 1,620 pieces.
It is already common for the Portuguese company Sidi to receive orders for Zara’s collections. The factory, located in Santo Tirso, in northern Portugal, has been operating since 2005 and has been working with the Spanish brand for several years. However, the order placed at the end of January was special: a sweatshirt that would be worn by Bad Bunny during the Super Bowl show.
How Bad Bunny’s sweatshirt was made
In just four days, the sweatshirt had to leave the factory in Santo Tirso and be delivered to Zara.
The Sidi Group has three factories in the Santo Tirso area: Sidi, Polivex and Spox, employing a total of 140 workers.
In addition to Zara, the company also produces garments for other well-known brands, such as Pull&Bear, American Vintage, Drôle de Monsieur, Isabel Marant and Pompeii.
