HAVI TechHUB, the company’s global center for digital innovation, has marked an important milestone with the inauguration of its new facilities in the heart of Lisbon. This expansion is part of a major global investment by HAVI and includes the creation of 70 new jobs, bringing the TechHUB workforce to 150 and reinforcing the company’s commitment to the Portuguese capital and its tech ecosystem.
The event brought together 150 guests, including representatives from national and international associations, institutions, and companies. It was also honored by the presence of the Vice-Mayor of Lisbon, Filipe Anacoreta Correia, who underlined the city’s role as a hub for innovation and international collaboration.
The ceremony also featured speeches from Reto Sahli, HAVI Senior Vice President & CDIO and Managing Director of the Lisbon TechHUB, and Daniela Ribeiro, Technology Transformation Director, with contributions from HAVI Global President Neil Humphrey. Together, these interventions highlighted Lisbon’s strategic role as a global innovation hub and the importance of local talent in driving HAVI’s technological transformation.
Also marked the official opening of HAVI TechHUB’s new home at the Cais 5 building, owned by Signal Capital Partners. Located in Lisbon’s vibrant riverside district of Cais do Sodré, Cais 5 combines modern design, abundant natural light, and sustainable features. This contemporary and flexible space provides an ideal environment for the HAVI TechHUB, reflecting its vision of openness, collaboration, and innovation.
As for the 70 new roles, the company plans to recruit profiles such as Solution Analysts, Project Management, Cloud and Network Engineering, Infrastructure and Operations, and Architecture. These roles will support the expansion of operations and the development of innovative solutions for HAVI and its global customers.
