Portugal was the most awarded country in the 14th edition of the International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition – CA Ovibeja Award, which received 93 samples from nine countries, the organization announced yesterday.
According to the results released by ACOS – Associação de Agricultores do Sul, promoter of the competition in partnership with Casa do Azeite, Portugal won nine awards, five of them medals and four honorable mentions, at the ceremony held today at the Ovibeja agricultural fair to announce the winners and present the prizes.
