ReHealth 2025 - is the first conference and exhibition in Ukraine since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, dedicated to identifying and implementing solutions for the restoration of the national healthcare system, with the participation of foreign trade missions and businesses.
The aim of the event is to facilitate for building partnerships between representatives of the Government of Ukraine, international donors, investors, leading medical equipment manufacturers and technologies, hospitals, regional military administrations, communities, and global partners in order to attract the necessary investments and coordinate efforts to restore the healthcare infrastructure, which has suffered large-scale destruction as a result of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by the enemy. This issue is directly linked to national resilience and the future of the country in the context of recovery.
Since 2022, Ukraine’s healthcare system has been operating under extreme challenges, like the destruction of medical infrastructure and shortages of critical equipment. Despite these difficulties, the situation has served as a powerful catalyst for significant modernization of the sector, including digital transformation and the strengthening of international partnerships. According to the fourth Rapid Damage and Needs Assessment (RDNA4), conducted by the Government of Ukraine in cooperation with the World Bank Group and the European Commission, the current needs of the healthcare system are estimated at USD 543 million.
Despite these circumstances, Ukraine remains committed to reforming its healthcare system, aligning it with European Union standards and improving the accessibility, quality, and efficiency of medical services. As a result, strategic windows of opportunity are opening for international partners, particularly from EU countries, many of which are launching funding programs to support Ukraine’s healthcare sector.

Business participation in the Ukraine ReHealth 2025 conference is strategically justified considering several key factors:
- High level of expertise in the healthcare sector. European companies have extensive experience in developing and implementing innovative solutions in medical equipment, digital healthcare, telemedicine systems, rehabilitation technologies, and sustainable medical infrastructure projects. These areas are critically important for rebuilding Ukraine’s healthcare system.
- Political support and Ukraine’s EU integration path. Ukraine is steadily advancing toward European integration, including the harmonization of healthcare standards with those of the EU. The participation of European companies strengthens partnership relations and supports this strategic direction.
- Potential for public-private partnerships. European companies can serve not only as solution providers but also as investors or partners in pilot projects. This enables the implementation of effective models of cooperation between the public and private sectors, particularly in regions affected by the war.
- Participation in recovery as a contribution to European security. A strong, modern healthcare system in Ukraine is a component of broader European security. The contribution of European companies to its recovery is not only a business opportunity but also an expression of solidarity and a commitment to long-term stability in the region
- New markets and long-term prospects. Participation in rebuilding Ukraine’s healthcare system opens new opportunities for European businesses—both in the short term (equipment supply, project implementation) and long term—by establishing a strong presence in a rapidly reforming market.
