The €60 (£49.55) million project, located in the Bonjardim area, is the city’s first hybrid hospitality space and was designed to blend contemporary hotel rooms, residential apartments, coworking spaces, and community-focused amenities.
The new four-star hub spans 11,200 square metres and features 271 hotel rooms, 39 residential apartments, co-working and meeting spaces, a gym, and a rooftop pool with a cocktail bar with panoramic views.
The Social Hub said this launch will create 30 new jobs in Porto and increase the group’s portfolio to 20 locations across 18 European cities, with plans for a Lisbon venue also underway.
The design of the hub aims to pays homage to Porto’s cultural heritage as a Unesco World Heritage Site while incorporating modern elements.
