The session aims to strengthen digital cooperation between Europe and the Indo-Pacific, focusing on key topics such as next-generation connectivity (5G and 6G), cybersecurity, digital trust, and Cloud-Edge-IoT technologies applied to smart industries.
The event will feature contributions from speakers including Sara Medina (Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação – SPI), Bernardo Amaral (AICEP), Alessandro Bassi (Eurescom), Masahiro Bessho (Tokyo University), Rob Van Kranenburg (Martel Innovate), Christopher Price (Ericsson Japan), Hideaki Takahashi (Nokia), and Judit Erika Magyar (Euraxess Japan).
The workshop will conclude with an informal networking session, encouraging synergies among participants.
INPACE is co-funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Programme and the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI). Its mission is to establish a sustainable Indo-Pacific–European hub for digital collaboration.
