AICEP has just released the third edition of the Business Services in Portugal Report 2025.
In this year’s edition, Portugal continues to demonstrate a remarkable growth, reinforcing its position as a leading nearshore destination. Currently home to 260 service centres, the sector employs around 100,000 people and has recorded an average annual growth rate of 14% since 2015. This edition stands out for featuring 8 case studies – Airbus, Amgen, Ferring Pharmaceuticals, Génération, H.B. Füller, Mercedes-Benz.io, Philip Morris International, Volkswagen Digital Solutions -, and for providing a deep dive into the impact of emerging technologies—especially AI—and ESG initiatives.
