Dutch transport authority RDW has selected Triangle, part of Portugal's Via Verde, to implement a new electronic toll collection system for heavy goods vehicles on motorways and some national and local roads in the Netherlands.
Triangle, led by Via Verde, has Yunex Traffic and Ascendi O&M as partners.
Tolling for heavy vehicles will start in July 2026, and Triangle will implement and manage the satellite-based, identifier-based toll collection system.
