The European Union Pavilion announced a unique design competition for young talent across the EU.
The competition invites aspiring designers to create a uniform for staff members at the EU Pavilion during Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan, from 13 April to 13 October 2025.
Under the theme "Nurturing Tomorrow," the EU Pavilion will highlight its commitment to making the world more sustainable, inclusive, connected, and secure for current and future generations.
The Pavilion is set to be a dynamic showcase of the EU's values, which align with the overall Expo theme: "Designing Future Society for Our Lives."
This competition offers an extraordinary opportunity for young designers to contribute to this global event by designing a uniform that represents the Pavilion's message.
The design must reflect the EU's visual identity and embody the core principles of the New European Bauhaus — sustainability, aesthetics, and inclusion. In addition to adhering to these values, the uniform should resonate with the innovative spirit of the Expo itself.
