Voltekko, a company founded by data center experts and operating across several European countries, announced its project to develop a data center in Alcochete, Portugal. This project aligns with Voltekko's mission to bring its clients closer to their digital infrastructure while meeting the evolving demands of the market.
Key features of the project include:
- Tier III+ certification for sovereign, eco-friendly, high-performance data centers, with a PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) of less than 1.3 and powered by renewable energy, utilizing waste heat, and water-efficient.
- An industrial partnership with EQUANS, a European leader in the data center sector, for design, optimization, construction, and maintenance.
- A 2,400m² IT surface area, 6.0 MW IT power capacity, and an average density of 3kw/m². Colocation services and connectivity with hyperscalers, ensuring 24/7 maximum security and renewable energy usage.
