The four Portuguese companies in the list:
1 – Coverflex - Portuguese startup Coverflex ranks 37th fastest growing company in Europe.
Coverflex is both a Fintech and an HR tech startup based in Braga. Coverflex raised a 15 million euros Series A funding in 2023 led by SCOR Ventures, with business angels such as Job van der Voort, CEO of Remote. The new funding brought the startup’s total amount raised to 20 million euros since launching in 2021.
2 – Equalfood - Portuguese startup Equalfood ranks 64th fastest growing company in Europe.
Equalfood is a Consumer Foodtech startup based in Lisbon that achieved revenues of 1.8 million euros in the financial year ending December 2023.
3 – BridgeIn - Portuguese startup BridgeIn ranks 104th fastest growing company in Europe.
Bridge In is a B2B SaaS and HR tech startup based in Lisbon that achieved revenues of 4.9 million euros in revenue for the 2023 financial year.
4 – Knockcare - Portuguese startup Knockcare ranks 208th fastest growing company in Europe.
Knockcare is a healthtech startup based in Matosinhos and it recorded 4.95 million in revenues for the financial year ending 2023. Knockcare raised a 4.4 million euros round in November 2021 from investors Armilar Venture Partners, Mustard Seed, MAZE, Triple Point Ventures and Social Innovation Fund.
The Sifted 250 ranks Europe’s 250 startups with the highest percentage revenue growth over the past three financial years, calculated using a two-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR).
Combined, the 250 startups have generated revenues of €6.86bn over the past three financial years and employ over 25,000 people across the continent. On average, they have raised €70.67m in capital.
