This year's edition will focus especially on information security and service management and on how following best practices is the best way to face emerging adversities in the technology market. It’s organized by Strongstep in partnership with AICEP Portugal Global, IPBN (Irish Portugal Business Network) and TICE.pt (National ICT cluster).
Challenges related to the retention of human resources and work-life balance will also be presented as main themes. These are hot topics that have gained enormous visibility and importance in the last 2 years, during which the business universe underwent a revolution.
NSAI (National Standards Authority Ireland), Deloitte, Wygroup, Aspira and Kilon Holdings are some of the companies that will be represented in this afternoon, fully aimed at those who want to continue to thrive in the tech world and who want to go further, with more knowledge.
As for the reason to organize the event, Strongstep’s CEO Pedro Castro Henriques stated: “Dublin is ‘the European capital’ for tech companies and international best practices are critical for their sustainability and growth. From top corporations to innovative startups, some of the best companies are based in Dublin. The huge amount of services to be managed from this city to other markets requires very high information security standards, so it is extremely necessary for professionals in this area to be informed about best practices, to ensure the top performance of their companies and its continuous improvement.”
The event will take place at the Portuguese Embassy in Dublin on the 9th of june from 2:00 pm, with an opening speech by the Portuguese Ambassador to Ireland, Bernardo Lucena.
