Unbabel has acquired translation company Lingo24 to provide multilingual content for global marketing teams. With this acquisition, whose value was not announced, the startup co-founded by Vasco Pedro sees its team increase from the current 205 employees to more than 330 people, says a source close to the company.

 

Lingo24 is a tech-enabled Language Service Provider (LSP), with experience in translating content across multiple formats, from product descriptions, user guides, websites, software and multilingual apps. It is also responsible for end-to-end localization services for major global brands like Patagonia, Schneider Electric, Eventbrite, UPS, and Virgin Pulse.
