Greenvolt has completed the connection of the Tábua Solar Power Station to the national electricity grid, considered the first “large-scale” solar project in Portugal.

This solar project, located in the parish of São João da Boa Vista, comprises around 90,000 solar panels and represents an investment of around 40 million euros.

The installed capacity of the infrastructure, which occupies approximately 90 hectares, amounts to 48 peak megawatts (MWp), which allows for the annual generation of up to 60-gigawatt hours (GWh) of renewable energy, enough to meet the energy needs of around 60,000 families annually.
