The national cuisine of Portugal has once again been recognised with four pastries making the top 100 in the world – and the top two spots also going to Portugal.

In first place in the rankings by Taste Atlas is the Pastel de Bélem and second place going to the more widely served Pastel de nata.

Also noteworthy is the Bola de Berlim, which is placed in 26th. The last national sweet mentioned in this list appears in 94th position, with Travesserios from Sintra.
