These indicators corresponded to 212.4 million euros of total income (+99%) and 153.9 million euros of income from accommodation (+102.3%), points out the National Institute of Statistics (
INE).
According to INE, “compared to January 2020, when the effects of the pandemic were not yet observed, there were increases of 21.6% in total income and 24% in those related to accommodation”.
Furthermore, it should be noted that the average income per available room (RevPAR) stood at 29 euros, with the average income per occupied room (ADR) being 78.4 euros (+86.2% and +17.7 % compared to January 2022, respectively).
