The aim of this initiative was to promote cultural habits and Portuguese heritage in Soho. This area was where the first wave of Portuguese immigrants concentrated in New York after the Second World War.
At Sullivan Street, more than 3,000 visitors had the opportunity to sample wines and gastronomic dishes, get to know some national crafts and books, and participate in activities and workshops, all with live Portuguese music.
The event had the institutional presence of AICEP Portugal Global in the promotion of Portugal. At the booth, shared with Tourism of Portugal, thematic brochures were distributed focusing on the topics Study, Live and Invest in Portugal.
Other Portuguese entities were also represented, such as Vista Alegre / Bordallo Pinheiro, Evaton / Sogrape, Delta Q, and Casa Ao Lado.
