According to Efacec, the project is supported by the German government with an investment of 1.5 million euros and is already in full swing. One of the already installed charging stations is located in Bad Urach – a small town at the foot of the Swabian Alb.
Efacec’s QC45 charging station will be used – according to the company, it is the bestseller in the Portuguese range. The output of the models is indicated as 50 kW (DC) or 22 kVA (AC). In May of this year, Efacec presented the second generation of the charging station. According to Efacac, the new version offers considerable improvements in hardware and software in comparison to its predecessor. The appearance of the fast charger has also been completely revised.
Efacec’s machines for the Baden-Württemberg region have been equipped with a number of specific components, such as a payment terminal for credit cards. In addition, they are designed in such a way that they can be easily operated by users with limited mobility.
It was not until June, by the way, that Allego also supplied the Portuguese company with an order of considerable size: Within two years, Efacec is to deliver 90 HV350 HPC chargers to Germany and the Netherlands.
