The Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) is the world's most iconic global aviation event. Taking place every two years, this Airshow occupies a prominent position in the aerospace calendar.
FIA 2010 was a spectacular success for business, with about US$47 billion worth of trade, 120,000 trade visitors, 108,000 public visitors 1,455 exhibitors representing 40 countries, 107,498 m2 of exhibition space, with 22 international pavilions and 8 national pavilions, 70 delegations from 44 countries, 152 aircrafts took part in static and flying displays, 46 companies had over 800 meetings with 159 potential suppliers through the programme “Meet your Buyer”.
The Portuguese Cluster will be present in Hall 4 – Stand D9. There, you will have the opportunity to meet 17 key companies, showing the best Portugal has to offer in terms of Air Transportation, MRO (Maintenance Repair and Overhaul) services, aeronautical and aerospace engineering, software development, design, aeronautical components and aero structures manufacturing.
