APREN hosted its annual conference.

The event was digital and held at Culturgest (Lisbon).

 

As in previous events, with the presence of some of the most renowned specialists in the renewable energy field (both national and international), discussed the most important issues of this sector.

 

Matos Fernandes, Ministry of Environment, said 80% of the electricity in Portugal will come from renewable sources in 2030. He remarked “Portugal is prepared for the challenges of the future and for the sustainability of the economy.

 

Currently 57% of electricity consumed in Portugal comes from renewable sources”. That will reduce the Portuguese energy dependence.
