In the Algarve, explorers interested in medical tourism can visit the luxurious Logevity Wellness Resort found in the Monchique Mountains where visitors are offered spa treatments, detox breaks and blood profiling.
Nazir Sacoor, chief executive officer of the resort in the Algarve, said: "Portugal offers a number of ideal conditions for health and wellness tourism. It is a safe country, with great weather all year round and fantastic infrastructure."
