VAKT

VAKT, a commodities post-trading processing platform underpinned by Blockchain technology, announced recently that is opening a development centre in Lisbon, with the objective of hiring 60 technology professionals by year end.

VAKT is transitioning from working with a development partner to take all development activities in house. As part of this transition, VAKT has decided to nearshore part of its development capabilities in Lisbon. The decision came after analysing a set of criteria such as sourcing and attractiveness of good talent, education environment, innovation and entrepreneurial mindset.

The plan is to build a development center, which is expected to be fully operational by the end of Q3 2019, when it should be resourced by between 50 to 60 people. The office will have multidisciplinary teams composed of different roles such as project managers, business analysts, application developers, infrastructure and a support team.

VAKT is a young, growing and entrepreneurial organization, who wants to employ people that would love to work in this environment.
