PEMAs - Portuguese Aeronautic Sector Association
PEMAs is an association composed by more than 20 companies and R&D institutions that approach aerospace industry in a transversal perspective as a strategic area for its development. Jointed missions participated in this association foundation, introducing companies as a collaborative working group, with complementary expertise and capable of integrating subsystems and projects.
The specific objectives of the group are:
1. To integrate national aerospace projects;
2. To integrate international aerospace projects;
3. To participate in the definition of public policies for the aerospace industry.
The PEMAS open network aims at integrating challenging cutting edge technology projects such as the UAV IMPERIO by the PAIC Consortium; the Aeroportal Project to support small and medium size companies in the aerospace area, the VULCAN project for new materials and aircraft design strategies development and several other aircraft structures and aircraft interior projects.
