ØPortugal is present at the Universal Exhibition of Shanghai, which runs from May 1 to October 31. Its Pavilion, covering 2000 m2, has a façade lined with recyclable, ecological cork - the national material of Portugal.
ØThe Portuguese pavilion at Expo 2010 in Shanghai had 500 000 visitors during the first opening month and is among the most voted pavilions on the internet.
ØPortugal will hold a conference at the Universal Exhibition of Shanghai, between the 7th and 8th of June, about the MOBI.E project. A program about the development and the adoption of new energy models for sustainable mobility.

Ø Portugal entered the Top 20 major economies of the optic fiber market
In 2009, the country exceeded 40 thousand homes connected and 1.1 million houses passed gathering the conditions to enter this ranking. The announcement to the Portuguese Press was made by Karel Helfen, President of FTTH Council Europe. FTTH will hold its 7th conference fiber-to-the-home on the 24th and 25th of February in Lisbon.
