Nokia Siemens Networks inaugurated its second global services hub in Portugal. Named GNSC - Global Networks Solutions Center - the new facility results from great demand for services for telecommunications networks and manages over 17 million users worldwide. The center begins with a highly qualified workforce of 600 people and may double this number in the future.
João Picoito, CEO of Nokia Siemens Networks for southern Europe, states that “the company is very optimistic about growth prospects and very happy with this investment in Portugal”. “This center was Nokia's big bet in our country and reveals its capacity to innovate” said Mr. Picoito to Portuguese News Agency LUSA.
Nokia Siemens Networks new global services hub operates 24/7 and has capacity to provide services to 60 million users.
