BMW Group has chosen Portugal for the world premiere of the new 5 series. Until the 24th of March, about 8 thousand people, including 750 journalists and 7 thousand dealers, of 50 countries, will visit Portugal.
BMW group stated, in a Press Release, that the choice for Portugal for this global event makes sense because of its nice weather, good roads, high quality hotels, existence of an international airport with daily flights to major cities around the world and the proximity of the Estoril speedway in the outskirts of Lisbon.
This is not the first time that BMW Group chooses Portugal as scenery for a world premier. First time was back in 2001 for the world launch of the new Mini generation witch confirms our country's qualities to host world-class events and its credentials in the automotive sector.
